Rhys Jones | FdSc Adventure Sports and Coaching

“The best things about this degree are the people you meet and the adventures you go on. You have so many opportunities for in depth learning and gaining industry wide skills, and you can gain National Governing Bodies’ coaching qualifications. The whole package confirms that you are serious about a career in the industry and makes it much easier to get a job.

I’m already working as an outdoor sports instructor but the short term dream is to do a ski instructor‘s qualification in Canada, then teach skiing in the winter and paddling, climbing and mountain biking in the summer. I’d have a great work balance and the opportunity to travel all over the world!”
