Library Assistant
Irvine completed his BA (Hons) in History & Ancient History at University of Liverpool. During his time at Liverpool University, Irvine worked in a number of museums such as the Garstang Museum of Archaeology and the Museum of Liverpool, working with the public, within the museum collections and developing digitisation techniques e.g. photogrammetry.
Irvine’s role involves a variety of tasks from helping staff and students access the library facilities, giving support with any technical queries, returning and organising books from all subject areas, running the library twitter page to give updates and promote Digby the Library mascot, creating displays and some other admin duties such as editing the Library sharepoint pages.
