UCR Transitions and Progression Officer
Chris works as part of the Student Support Team, supporting students’ transition into HE, as well as their progression into highly skilled graduate employment.
He also works extensively on UCR’s Access and Participation Plan, which enables UCR to reduce gaps and inequalities at key stages of the student lifecycle, for a variety under-represented groups.
Working at UCR allows Chris to combine his passion for the environment and land based sectors with a love of education. Some of Chris’ primary interests are: Widening Participation and Social Mobility, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in education, racial inequality in Higher Education and cultural diversity in the Land-based sector.
