We know that there is a lot to think about when choosing a university, especially when it involves moving abroad, but we hope that the following information will help as you consider studying as an international student at UCR.
Our University Centre, based in Nantwich, Cheshire, has excellent transport links to all major cities in the UK; including Manchester with their famous football team, and Liverpool, home to one of the largest and oldest Chinese communities in Europe, Liverpool FC, and The Beatles. You will be well placed to discover all that England has to offer while you study with us. Both Manchester and Liverpool have international airports less than an hour away, too.
Our supportive community of students and staff will offer you a sense of belonging from the day you arrive on campus. We are sure that you will feel at home in no time at Reaseheath. Our Halls of Residence are all on-site, with en-suite rooms and a choice of catered and self-catered options. As a residential student, you will be living amongst 330 hectares of farms, parklands, lake and woodland, with excellent sport and catering facilities.
Our campus also continues to benefit from a multimillion-pound investment, with leading edge teaching facilities and resources. We have a national reputation as a successful provider of agricultural education, as well as our own fully licensed zoo, international standard equestrian facility, a design studio specifically for landscape architecture students, and one of the best equipped food processing practical facilities in Europe. It is likely that you will need to obtain a student visa to study at UCR. An important document required to apply for your visa is your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). To receive your CAS, you will need to pay a deposit of £3,500.
Please note a CAS can only be issued a maximum of six months before your course start date. For September 2022 entry, the earliest date that we will issue you a CAS is March 2022.
A CAS includes information about you, on the course you have been accepted onto, costs of your first-year tuition and details of the documents we used to confirm your place. It also has a CAS number which is unique to you, and it is this number you will use when you submit your visa application.

If there is anything that is incorrect or you do not understand then you should contact us straight away at ucradmissions@reaseheath.ac.uk.
