Get your hands dirty at our on-campus farm in the heart of rural Cheshire, with an array of professional-standard livestock, arable-crop and horticultural-crop production systems. 

Then build your experience in state-of-the-art technologies such as our Lely Astronaut A5 automated robotic milking system, vertical farming unit and hydroponic glasshouse, including opportunities for applied research, data collection and collaboration with industry partners. 

There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to fine-tune your skills and put your knowledge into practice with industry placements, field trips and study tours, both in the UK and overseas. Plus a busy programme of industry events, conferences and external speakers.
