Clearing your path to University Centre Reaseheath

Clearing has officially opened at University Centre Reaseheath, offering potential applicants a chance to explore their study options at one of the North West’s leading land-based higher education institutions.

Specialising in agricultural, animal, environmental, equine and food sciences, University Centre Reaseheath has a diverse range of courses available at its Cheshire campus this autumn. From canine behaviour and training, veterinary nursing, and zoo management to equine training and rehabilitation, wildlife conservation and ecology, and bakery and patisserie technology, UCR has a course for you.

The university centre offers courses at undergraduate degree level, equipping students with the skills necessary for thriving careers in rural economies. Emphasising practical experience and industry relevance, Reaseheath ensures students are industry focussed and career-ready upon graduation.

While the main Clearing activity occurs around A-level results day on August 15th, the Clearing window remains open throughout September and until 21st October. This extended period gives prospective students plenty of time to find a course that suits their interests and career aspirations.

Clearing, which is managed by University and College Admissions Service (UCAS), is ideal for students who receive unexpected A Level results, want to change their preferred course, or have not yet found a suitable institution.

Thomas Furness, HE Academic Registrar, said: “Clearing offers incredible flexibility and choice. It’s a fantastic opportunity for college leavers and mature students alike to embark on a new chapter.”

Clearing isn’t just for those leaving college. It’s a fantastic opportunity for mature students and career changers to embark on a new journey. Whether you’re looking to upskill, reskill or totally change direction, Clearing can help you find the perfect course to match your ambitions.

“At University Centre Reaseheath, we understand the unique needs of mature learners and career changers. Our supportive community will help you feel welcome and confident as you progress on your new academic journey.”
