Dan Wright

Lecturer and Course Manager

Daniel has a BSc in Animal Management from the University of Derby and has completed a MSc in Conservation Biology at Manchester Metropolitan University. Daniel is also a Member of the British Herpetological Society and works as a Red List Assessor for the IUCN, and is currently working on a project to reassess all of Mexico’s reptile species. Daniel previously worked as a Reptile Keeper at Chester Zoo for a number of years and has worked closely with many Critically Endangered species and European breeding projects as well as a couple of reintroduction projects.
