HE Lecturer and Course Manager
Maisie achieved a first class degree with honours in BSc Ecology and Wildlife Conservation at Bournemouth University.
She has previously worked as a placement student at WWT Martin Mere in Lancashire, working on the reserve carrying out ecological surveys, husbandry of conservation grazing cattle, bird ringing and practical conservation tasks. Also has experience carrying out a variety of different ecological surveys including water vole surveys, moth trapping, butterfly, dragonfly, and damselfly transects and vegetation surveys (to name a few).
Maisie volunteers with Crewe & Nantwich Conservation Volunteers group carrying out practical conservation tasks such as planting trees, scrub removal (where appropriate) and managing invasive species at local nature reserves.
In her spare time and as a personal project, Maisie creates and illustrates wildlife ID guides for children and young adults.
