Rebecca gained a first-class BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour and Biology at the University of Chester, before going onto complete an MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Lincoln. Rebecca set up her own business in her second year of University in pet-sitting and dog walking, which gradually adapted to becoming a behavioral business which she continues to do now. She is a specialist in canine aggressive behavioral disorders and has a keen interest in education around this topic, particularly for children, and those with psychological impacts of dog bites.

Rebecca is connected to the animal behaviour industry through the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) as a Provisional Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB), the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians (FABC) as a Candidate CAB, and as a Pre-Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist through the CCAB.
