Need to build your confidence and qualifications?
An Access to Higher Education Diploma could be the route for you.
Designed for people who want to progress to higher education but need to develop their academic skills, knowledge and confidence first, Access can be a great option if you’ve been away from education, don’t have the qualifications you need or are looking for a new direction.
There are three pathways at Reaseheath: Animal Science, Land Based Studies and Veterinary Science, helping prepare you for a range of degree subjects.
Ready for higher education but want a practical route?
A Foundation Degree could be a great option.
Foundation Degrees are higher education qualifications in their own right, normally studied over two years. At Reaseheath, they combine academic study with practical, industry-focused learning.
Courses include subjects such as Animal Management, Equine Training and Rehabilitation, Environmental Conservation, Zoo Management, Canine Behaviour and Training, and Sustainable Agriculture, with a number of courses offering the opportunity to progress to a one-year honours degree top-up.
Didn’t quite get the grades for your original course?
Depending on the course and its entry requirements, a Foundation Degree could give you another route into higher education.
You can start studying, gain valuable academic and practical experience and, on eligible courses, progress to a one-year top-up later.
